Paralia, Greece – a mixture of rich history and modern life

Paralia (Greek: Παραλία) is a tourist seaside village and a former municipality in the eastern part of the Pieria regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Katerini, of which it is a municipal unit. The seat of the municipality was in Kallithea. The 2011 census reported a population of 1,124 for the village of Paralia, and 6,803 for the municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 24.344 km2, the community 1.849 km2. This idyllic, exotic and remote seaside place is the ideal escape for those who like long sandy beaches, relaxation, and enjoyment.

Participation Fee

-  175 € per person for 4 nights with half-board accommodation (2 meals per day)

Participants will stay in comfortable Hotels & Apartments, including organizational costs.

  • Rooms: 3–4 beds with private bathrooms

  • Each group may use up to 2 double rooms for leaders and drivers without paying the extra charge. If they need more than 2 double rooms, the extra charge for the additional rooms will apply.

  • Extra double room: +10 € per person/day

  • Single room: +20 € per day

  • Air conditioning: 7 € per room/day

  • Tourist tax: 2 € per person/day

  • Hotels do not provide towels

  • Check-in after 14:00 PM / Check-out before 09:00 AM

  • 1 free place for every 25 participants

  • Extra nights (half board): 40 € per person/day

Payment Terms

To confirm participation, each group must pay a 10% advance deposit.
The remaining balance should be paid no later than 15 days before the festival, by bank transfer or upon arrival, according to prior agreement.

  • The deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

  • In case of Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to reschedule the event.

  • Due to potential economic fluctuations, prices may be subject to adjustment.

  • Any bank transfer costs must be covered by the participant.

Itinerary

Festival Participation Conditions

  • Open to Choirs, Orchestras, Folklore, and Modern Dance Groups from all over the world

  • No age limits

  • Participant certificates and gifts provided by the organizers

  • Organized performances, parades, and cultural exchanges

  • Groups must submit a completed application form

  • Upon receiving the form and deposit, the organizer will issue an official invitation letter

Participant Obligations

  • Each group should include dancers, musicians, leaders, and administration

  • Prepare a 10–12 minute performance

  • Performances can be accompanied by live music, CD, or USB

  • Bring a national flag and group name banner for the parade

  • Groups arriving by bus must use their own transport during the festival

  • Visa arrangements (if needed) are the group’s responsibility

  • Rooming lists must be submitted at least one month before the festival

3. MAGIC PARK in Thessaloniki

Magic Park is the largest fun park for people of all ages. Located outside the city center, on the way to the airport, opposite Mediterranean Cosmos Mall, it has a variety of rides and activities for everyone. A beautiful and safe entertainment park next to the Mediterranean Cosmos m shopping mall with countless action and skill games for all age groups: kids, adolescents, adults.
