Overview

Bar is a coastal town and seaport in southern Montenegro. It is the capital of the Bar Municipality and a center for tourism.

There are some nice stony beaches in Bar itself, many tourists choose destinations in other small towns in the Bar municipality, notably Sutomore, with its beautiful long sandy beach. The natural area around Bar is mostly untouched and is rich in vegetation. The Bar municipality stretches to the southern shore of Skadar lake and encompasses the Krajina region. This entire area is suitable for leisure activities and hiking. Smaller settlements near Bar, such as Dobra Voda, Sutomore, and Čanj, are a favorite destination for sunbathing, as they incorporate long sandy beaches.

Petrovac is located on the coast between Budva and Bar, where the old mountain road from Podgorica reaches the coast. It has a 600 m long sandy beach and it is a popular tourist destination.

Festival fees include organization costs and accommodation in comfortable hotels or apartments.

  • Rooms: mostly triple or quadruple with private bathrooms

  • Each group may receive two double rooms (for leaders/drivers)

  • Additional rooms:

    • Double room: +€10/person/day

    • Single room: +€20/day

  • Extra nights (Half Board): €50–€60/person

  • 1 free place for every 25 participants

  • Check-in: after 14:00 PM, Check-out: before 09:00 AM

Payment Terms

To confirm participation, each group pays 10% in advance, with the remaining balance due no later than 15 days before the festival — either by bank transfer or upon arrival, as previously arranged with the organizers.

Please note:

  • The advance deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation for any reason.

  • In the event of Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to reschedule or postpone the festival.

  • Due to potential economic fluctuations, prices may be adjusted accordingly.

  • All banking fees are the responsibility of the applicant.

Festival Conditions

  • Open to Choirs, Orchestras, Folklore, and Modern Dance Groups from around the world

  • Participation diplomas and gifts provided by the organizer

  • Organization of parades and performances included

  • To participate, groups must complete the application form and submit the advance payment, after which an official invitation letter will be issued.

 

Participant Requirements

  • Each group should include dancers, musicians, managers, and assistants

  • Prepare a 10–12 minute performance

  • Performances may use live music, CD, or USB

  • Bring a national flag and a group banner for the parade

  • Groups traveling by bus must use their own transportation during the festival

  • Groups requiring visas must handle visa arrangements independently

  • Rooming lists must be submitted at least one month before the festival.

Explore Montenegro like never before!

1. Mini Montenegro Tour

For guests who would like to learn about Montenegro’s tradition, culture, history, and spectacular landscapes this tour is a must! This is the colorful round tour through the urban and rural areas of Montenegro. Montenegro is a land with abundant natural and cultural contrast. It is such an original mixture of eastern and western cultural influences. Our tour guide will introduce you to medieval town Kotor, breathtaking Boka Bay from another perspective, the raw mountains of Lovcen, sleepy Njegusi village, and the Old town Budva.

2. The SOUTH of MONTENEGRO — BAR & ULCINJ. FAMILY TOUR!

We drive along the coast direction south-east. Our first destination will be the town of Bar, the main port of Montenegro, including a visit to the Old Bar, the town of ghosts, as well as one of the oldest olive trees in the world. Further between the coast and Rumija Mountain to the town of Ulcinj and its divine beaches. And finally, we can relax and refresh on the Long Beach of Ulcinj.

3. Aquapark Budva

You are looking for a change from the beach? Bask in this fabulous journey through indulgences this unique retreat in Aqua Park Budva offers. Experience the adrenaline pumping with numerous rides and slides in this brand new water park.

The complex consists of many, very interesting and exciting, water attractions and amenities – water slides and pools, over 50 children attractions, big restaurant, 3 bars, children cafe, shop, photo-booth and more for all ages to make your time the most memorable.

4. Adventure Park

It is funny, extreme, exciting, challenging, for each generation. This is the first adventure park in this part of Europe, located in the National Park Lovcen. The park was constructed in a dense beech forest. It occupies an area of ​​2 acres with 6 trails for sports and high adrenaline activities. 

Adventurous trails enable the exchange of energy and unforgettable moments with your friends, family, and colleagues in a unique way. These paths offer you intensive experiences in totally safe surroundings where you are not expected to have any special abilities for such activities.

5. Visit Monastery OSTROG and the capital PODGORICA

Montenegro necessarily recommends visiting one of the national and religious shrines Montenegro — Ostrog monastery. If you go through Podgorica along the fertile plains to Niksic, then on your way their monastery carved into the rock at an altitude of 900 m above sea level. This Upper Monastery, consisting of two small churches: first, Holy Cross, built-in 1665; second — Church of the Assumption of the Virgin — in 1774. It is here that the relics of St. Basil of Ostrog, a miracle-worker, and healers.

On the way back, you will be guided through the modern capital — Podgorica, which provides for a sightseeing tour through the city with a stop at the mall.

6. Visit DUBROVNIK

Dubrovnik - the beautiful city on the Croatian coast and Adriatic. Thanks to the diversity of cultural and historical monuments, the city brought in a UNESCO world. From the observation deck, you can see a panorama of the city and its environs. Outside the city walls of Old Town, remained true masterpieces of architecture, such as church St. Blaise, one of the first pharmacies in Europe, the Cathedral. After the tour will be given free time to walk around the city on their own.
