Overview
Finike, the ancient Phoenix or Phoinix (Ancient Greek: Φοῖνιξ), also formerly Phineka, is a town and a district on the Mediterranean coast of Antalya Province in Turkey, to the west of the city of Antalya, along the Turkish Riviera. It is located on the southern shore of the Teke peninsula, and the coast here is a popular tourist destination. However, Finike is best known for its oranges, the symbol of the town.
Accommodation
PARTICIPATION FEE:

Participation fee covers:
- Organizational expenses
- Accommodation in a Hotel for 4 nights with 3
meals per day. (Open buffet breakfast, Lunch and dinner)
* The groups will stay in "Presa Di Finica" Hotel 5*****
- On every 25 participants one member is free of charge.
- For double rooms there is a supplement of 10 € per
person per day
- For single room 20 € per person per day
PAYMENT:
As confirmation of its participation in the festival, a group pays in advance 1000 € (which is not reimbursable in case of declination of participation). The rest of the amount is to be paid 15 days before the festival or at the group’s arrival to the hotel, according to the
agreement.

Itinerary
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATING :
1. Please, send the application form back by e mail with minimum 6 digital pictures and a short description of your group and videos or links and descriptions of your
performances
2. Participants age are not limited .
3. The number of participants are not limited.
4. The groups are requested to arrive in Finike 17/05/2024 - 12:00 and depart on 21/04/ 2024 - 12:00, after breakfast.
5. Gifts provide for each person is an attendance festival hat-t-shirt and certificate
6. For gift exchange, each country must bring 3 gifts.
7. Each group should bring flags of their countries with them.
8. Pocket money will not be paid to the groups by Festival Committee.
9. The groups will prepare 6-8 minutes programs. All groups have to prepare minimum 2 different performances and different costumes
Things to do
1. Gökbük Canyon
One of the top attractions in Finike, Gökbük Canyon, is a haven for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature. Stretching over 4 km, this stunning gorge is an ideal spot for nature walks, camping, and picnics
2. Myra Rock Tombs
Step back in time with a visit to the Myra Rock Tombs. These ancient tombs, carved into the side of a mountain, offer a glimpse into the city’s rich history.
3. Arykanda
Nestled within the boundaries of Arif Village on Finike Elmalı Street, the ancient city of Arykanda is a treasure trove of historical wonders. Archaeological research is still ongoing in this area, and while the exact timeline of the city’s earliest settlement remains unclear, artifacts unearthed during excavations suggest that it dates back to as early as the 5th century BC.
4. Suluin Cave
Just a kilometer away from the city center of Finike, you’ll find the Suluin Cave, one of the deepest caves in the world. Holding the title of the deepest cave in mainland Asia, this natural wonder has piqued the curiosity of many, making it a popular stop for visitors throughout the year.
5. Ancient City of Limyra
One of the oldest historical sites in the Finike District, the Ancient City of Limyra, boasts a history spanning two thousand years. Strategically built on a high mountain, Limyra held significant importance during times of war, serving as a fortress that overlooked the surrounding lands.
6. Rhodiapolis Ancient City
Situated 19 km from the center of Finike district and within the borders of Kumluca district in Antalya, the ancient city of Rhodiapolis offers a unique blend of history and natural beauty. Built on a high hill by the Rhodesians who once ruled the area, Rhodiapolis offers panoramic views of the Kumluca coast, making it a premier spot for sightseeing.
7. Olympus
Located 45 kilometers northeast of central Finike County in Kumluca County, Olympus is a city of significant historical importance. As one of the most important cities in the Lycian Union, Olympus offers a wealth of historical sites that provide a glimpse into the city’s rich past.
