Itinerary
Malgrat Turisme would like to invite Bands, Folk groups, Majorette Groups, Piper Bands, Dixieland bands, Street bands, etc, to participate in the Malgrat de Mar International Music and Folk Festival FIBM
2022.
During this International Festival, there will be some parades and performances. The performances will be in schools, parks, and squares of Malgrat de Mar. This Festival will not be competitive.
DRAFT FESTIVAL PROGRAMME
1st day - 4th October
The arrival of the groups, free day, or optional excursion.
2nd day - 5th October
The arrival of the groups
Morning: free and possibility of the optional excursion.
Afternoon: concert/performance in one of the squares of Malgrat.
3rd day - 6th October
Morning: concert/performance in one of the squares in Malgrat.
Afternoon: Free or optional excursion.
4th day - 7th October
Morning: delegates from each group will be invited for an official welcome by the Major of Malgrat de Mar at the Local Council’s Headquarters.
Afternoon: The opening parade will start through the waterfront and main streets of Malgrat de Mar and the final performance at Parc Campassol.
Evening: Spectacular show at the Hotel with the participation of all Groups.
5th day - 8th October
Morning free to enjoy more Malgrat de Mar or optional excursion, in one of the wonderful places of Catalonia such as Barcelona, Girona, Tossa de Mar, etc.
Afternoon: Final parade and performance at the Plaza J.A. Clavé. At the end of the performance, there will be an Award ceremony.
6th day - 9th October

The hours and days of exhibitions and outings are provisional approximate. The program can be modified at the times, places for exhibitions and excursions, for organizational purposes.
We will be handing out the finalized definitive program 10 days before the event from the local organization.
Note: There is the possibility for those who would like to have a longer permanence than that of the festival. If you want, you can arrive one or more days before and leave one or more days after.

Have an unforgettable experience! Enjoy half a day at the wonderful world of Aspro’s parks. Swim, cool off, play with the water and then… relax, rest, and sunbathe in the quiet areas on the lawn around the pool, where you can feel nature all around you.
6. Montserrat
Place where spirituality, nature, and history come together. The mountain and Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat, founded in the 11th century, are located in a natural park 60 km west of Barcelona.
It is well known as the site of the Benedictine abbey, Santa Maria de Montserrat, which hosts the Virgin of Montserrat sanctuary. The mountain is composed of a strikingly pink conglomerate, a form of sedimentary rock. Montserrat is Spain's first National Park.
