* If due to flight itineraries, or else if you prefer so, you will have to spend extra nights, arrangements can be done.
* If the group arrives by air/sea, it is possible to arrange special rates for the transfer from Barcelona or Girona airport to the hotel and back
* The Group will be accommodated in one of the mentioned affiliated hotels.
* Each group is responsible for airfare/transportation to Costa Brava.
* Participating groups should take the Festival accommodation packages.
*At the time of registration, the group has to pay a deposit of approximately 30% of the entire amount. The deposit is not refundable.
* Extra nights can be arranged for €45 per person per night on Full Board basis

Itinerary

The Festival is not competitive, and is open for mixed choirs, male choirs, women's choirs, youth choirs, sacred music choirs, gospel choirs, folk music choirs, etc. Each choir can perform in its own style but must keep in mind that this Festival is being held in Catholic Churches and so song list must include sacred songs, with an Easter theme if possible and maybe even gospel songs. Other songs maybe freely chosen also. Each choir can perform "a cappella", or can be accompanied by piano organ or other musical instruments. The Organisation will arrange for the use of the respective churches piano organs. If the piano organ of a particular church could not be used, it will be replaced by an electric piano/keyboard. Any other instruments must be brought over by the respective choir.

Thursday 4th April

• Arrival of all choirs in Costa Brava Maresme, either by their own transport directly to the Hotel, or else by air to the Barcelona or Girona Airports and then with arranged airport transfers by the Organisation.
• Buffet lunch and dinner at the Hotel.

Friday 5th April

• Buffet breakfast at the Hotel and free time for leisure. For those interested, there will be optional cultural excursions to places like Barcelona, Girona, Tossa de Mar, etc.
• Buffet lunch at the Hotel
• In the evening, the first Festival Night in one of the local baroque churches.
• Buffet dinner at the Hotel.

Saturday 6th April

• Buffet breakfast at the Hotel
• For those interested there will
be optional cultural excursions to places like Barcelona, Girona, Tossa de Mar, etc.                                                        • Buffet lunch at the Hotel.
• In the evening, the Second
Festival Night, in another church of the region.
• Buffet dinner at the Hotel.

Sunday 7th April

• Buffet breakfast
• For those interested, they can join one of the optional excursions to splendid villages and cities of the Catalonia region.
• Buffet lunch at the Hotel.
• In the evening, the Final Night of the Catalonia International Easter Choir Festival 2024. Local Authorities and the Organisation Committee will present participation certificates to all choirs who have participated in this International Festival at
the end of this final concert.
• Buffet dinner at the Hotel.

Monday 8th April

• Departures of all International Choirs.

1. Barcelona Panoramika

All day trip to Barcelona to visit Colombo  Monument, Montjuic Hill - PanoramicView, Olympic Stadium, Magic Fountains,Plaza Espanya, Gran Via, Paseo de Gracia, Casa Batllo – Gaudi, Casa Pedrera – Gaudi, Sagrada Familia – Gaudi and  free time at Plaza Cataluña

Experience the passion and music of traditional Spanish Flamenco music and dance. The performance is a fascinating journey through Spanish folklore, music, and dance, from the classics to the purest flamenco. Two hours show program and drink sangria, champagne, or fruit juice.

5. Marienland

Have an unforgettable experience! Enjoy half a day at the wonderful world of Aspro’s parks. Swim, cool off, play with the water and then… relax, rest, and sunbathe in the quiet areas on the lawn around the pool, where you can feel nature all around you.

6. Montserrat

Place where spirituality, nature, and history come together. The mountain and Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat, founded in the 11th century, are located in a natural park 60 km west of Barcelona.

It is well known as the site of the Benedictine abbey, Santa Maria de Montserrat, which hosts the Virgin of Montserrat sanctuary. The mountain is composed of a strikingly pink conglomerate, a form of sedimentary rock. Montserrat is Spain's first National Park.
