Sicily has always been an excellent meeting point for an encounter of different musical cultures. This International Festival is open for all kinds of folklore groups. Participating groups will be given the opportunity to perform and share their respective cultures and folk traditions with the other groups and also with the general public, in a unique and incomparable setting, which the city of Taormina and the surroundings cities and villages has to offer. 

Taormina and its surroundings are known as the “Pearl of Sicily”, a truly magical area located on the Sicilian Ionian coast. The mild climate, its panoramic position, its monuments and the luxuriant vegetation have made Taormina an exclusive tourist resort for people from all over the world. The city stands like on a terrace, overlooking the sea and Mount Etna. Its ancient Greek Theatre, at the top of the hill, overlooks the Ionian Sea and the natural landscape of citrus groves. 

 3 nights Package (including trasfers) - HB Accommodation 

The cost of a 3 nights accomodation package, in a 3 Star Hotel, in the Ionian coastal area (provided by the Organisation) is of €260 per person in a twin, triple or quadruple room, according to avalaibility (half board, drinks excluded). 

• Children up to 2 years – Free 
  
• 3rd and 4th person in a room - €245 

The above package includes: 

• Accomodation in a 3 Star Hotel (half board - drinks excluded) 
• Assistance by the Organisation Personel, during the entire stay 
• Festival Registration 
• Tourists Tax 
• Transfers for the performances, where needed 
• 1 free package every 25 paying persons

3 nights Package (including trasfers) -BB Accommodation 

The cost of a 3 nights accomodation package, in a 3 Star Hotel, in the Ionian coastal area (provided by the Organisation) is of €225 per person in a twin, triple or quadruple room, according to avalaibility (bed and breakfast accommodation). 

• Children up to 2 years – Free 
• 3rd and 4th person in a room - € 210 

The above package includes: 

• Accomodation in a 3 Star Hotel (BB Accommodation) 
• Assistance by the Organisation Personel, during the entire stay. 
• Festival Registration 
• Tourists Tax 
• Transfers for the performances, where needed 
• 1 free package every 25 paying persons 

3 nights Package (excluding trasfers) - HB Accommodation 

For those groups, who can reach Sicily with their own transport and use their own transport to go for the performances, the cost of a 3 nights accomodation package in a 3 Star Hotel (provided by the Organisation) is of €225 per person in a twin, triple or quadruple room, according to avalaibility (half board- drinks excluded). 

• Children up to 2 years – Free 
• Adults – 3rd and 4th person in a room - €210 

The above package includes: 

• Accomodation in a 3 Star Hotel (half board - drinks excluded) 
• Assistance by the Organisation Personell during the entire stay. 
• Festival Registration 
• Tourists Tax 
• 1 free package every 25 persons
   

3 nights Package (excluding trasfers) - BB Accommodation 

For those groups, who can reach Sicily with their own transport and use their own transport to go for the performances, the cost of a 3 nights accomodation package in a 3 Star Hotel (provided by the Organisation) is of €195 per person in a twin, triple or quadruple room, according to avalaibility. 

• Children up to 2 years – Free 
• Adults – 3rd and 4th person in a room - €175 

The above package includes: 

• Accomodation in a 3 Star Hotel - BB acommodation 
• Assistance by the Organisation Personell during the entire stay 
• Festival Registration 
• Tourists Tax 
• 1 free package every 25 paying persons
   

N.B. 

If due flight itineraries, or else if you prefer so, you will have to spend extra nights, arrangements can be done. 

Each group is responsible for airfare/transportation to Sicily. 

Participating groups should take the Festival accommodation packages. 

The Organisation can create a tailor made programme for a group, according to its necessities, including also excursions or extra lunches/dinners in the Hotel or other restaurants. 

Extra nights have a cost of €45 per person per night, BB accommodation (bed and breakfast) and of €55 per person per night HB accommodation (half board) 

The group will be accommodated in one of the affiliated Hotels. 

The Organisation can make the necessary arrangements for the airport transfer. 

Once a group confirms its participation, the group will be asked for a deposit of approximate 30% of the total cost. This deposit is not refundable. 

Full payment must be settled by not later than one month from the Festival dates. Any persons from the group, who opt to cancel their participation, for any reason even if this is beyond their control, will be only refunded if this cancellation is effected up to 10 days before the Festival dates. In the 10 days preceeding the Festival, no refunds can be issued.
