Hanioti - a small and very picturesque village in Halkidiki, situated on the peninsula's first prong, only a 60minute drive from Greece's northern capital, Thessaloniki. The accommodation of the participants will be organized in hotels and apartments, 5 minutes from the beach. The groups will be accommodated in rooms with 3 beds and 4 beds on a half board basis. Only 2 double rooms are available per group without extra charge which can be used for the leaders and drivers.
Extra charges:
- Double room: 8 € per person/per night
- Single room: 30 € per person/per night
- Extra night: 40 € per person/per night
SPECIAL OFFER: On the way to and from the Festival, you have the opportunity to visit cities like Budapest, Vienna, Graz, Prague, Skopje, Varna – Golden sands, Sofia, Serbia – Belgrade and Leskovac and more. The Festival organizers can organize accommodation for the groups, guided city tours and tickets for sights for great deals. The cost of it upon request.
HOW TO GET THERE?
The participant group has to arrive in Hanioti on June 4 th (starting with dinner) and leave on June 9
th after having breakfast till 10:00h. The groups should pay the travel expenses by themselves to Hanioti and back.
The groups coming by bus can use their own transport all the time during the festival and the small
journeys around the city. Any expense caused by the usage of the bus (accident, robbing, breakdown,
etc.) should be covered by the vehicle’s insurance. Each member must have travel insurance policy.
Free Parking
The festival organizers will organize the transport for the groups coming by plane. The price for the transport
Thessaloniki airport – Hanioti - Thessaloniki airport upon request and will depend on number of people.

Itinerary
The International folk and modern dance festival “Hanioti” is a non - competitive festival. At the festival can participate in children and youth folklore dance groups, vocal groups, instrumental groups, and soloists, as well as groups and performers from other art styles. Participants should be from the age of 5 to 105.
In the last 20 years at the Festival in Hanioti participated, 50.000 children.
The Festival will be organized in the main square of Hanioti and surrounded villages of the Municipality of Kassandria. The shows are organized in the evening hours with a short defile at the start and can be either with live music or CD. According to the number of participants, the minutes of performances will be defined. At the end of the Festival, after the show, the Groups have a gift exchange and receiving certificates.
The International Festival of dance and songs
“Hanioti” is a non-competitive festival of traditional
and modern dances and songs performed by groups.
On the festival may participate children and youth
folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, choirs,
as well as groups and performers from other art
styles with minimum 10 persons on the stage. The
age of participants is not limited.
During the Festival each group will have at least two
performances in Hanioti and surrounded villages
of Municipality of Kassandra according to the
program of the festival. The shows are organized in
the evening hours with a short parade at the start.
Groups should perform maximum 7 minutes.
During daytime it is possible to organize rehearsals
in the amphitheater.

1. BOAT TRIP – Toroneus Cruise
What better way to spend the day than sailing over the Aegean, stopping at beaches and islands along the way? An absolute must for everyone! A very special day for ‘’fun under the sun’’. A relaxed day cruise between the peninsulas of Kassandra and Sithonia. First up, you’ll board a galleon-style ship, lazing on deck as it cuts through the waters and passes by green islands. Then, you’ll drop anchor at Toroni Bay, spend a couple of hours here soaking up the sun and swimming in the sea before rejoining your ship. Next, your boat will cruise on to Turtle Island, a pine-wooded island that’s shaped like a sleeping turtle. Here, you’ll get another chance to swim or snorkel or lounge on deck before the crew call time up and you sail back to port.
2. THESSALONIKI SIGHTSEEING & SHOPPING
Thessaloniki - Capital of Macedonia Greece built in 315 BC by King Kassandros and named it after his wife Thessaloniki, who was the half-sister of Alexander the Great. The city possesses a unique blend of ancient and modern culture that shaped its 2300 years of dramatic history. It is a whole day trip and you will have the chance either to go shopping or to admire the historic side of the city.
