Eilat's Wave- International Dance & Vocal Festival -Competition is one of the great dance & vocal competitive events in Israel. The festival takes place in the best concert hall of Eilat ( Tiatron Eilat) with concert's stage 18x12 m. More than 1700 youth dancers and singers took part in the 2nd festival in 2019. The festival program includes Great Open Ceremony, Dance Contest, workshops, disco, meeting with foreign groups, VIP meetings for leaders of the groups, interview for TV and radio channels, yacht ship with the best marine attractions that Eilat has to offer: tubing, banana boats, parasailing, jet ski. The Festival committee can organize excursions to the Dead Sea and to the Old City of Jerusalem according to your desire.

Nominations for dance:
- Break-dance/Hip-Hop
- Character Dance/Folk dance (Authentic, Styled)
- Jazz/Modern/Contemporary/Freestyle/ Sport show-Acro dance/

Nominations for vocal:
- Academic/Folk /Pop
Size of group:
- solo
- small group up to 4 singers/ dancers
- small group up to 8 dancers/ for the hip -hop, and break-dance only/
- formations/ensembles/choir

Age of group:
-first steps / for the first year of study, up to 6 years
- Kiddy -A- 6-7 years
- Kiddy -B- 8-10 years
- Teeny- 11-13 years
- Youngsters- 14-16 years
- Grown-up- 17+ years

Age of group /for Hip-Hop and Break-Dance only:
- Kiddy - up to 12 years
- Teeny- up to 16 years
- Youngsters - 17 + years
Judges are outstanding Israeli and foreign choreographers and dancers.Maximum-12 points

Evaluation criteria for Dance:
- Performance: Creativity, Staging, Spacing, Showmanship, Costume
- Technique: Technical Skills, Synchronization, Musicality, Difficulty

Evaluation criteria for Vocal:
- Vocal Technique – Tone Quality, Breath Support, Intonation, Diction, and Articulation
- Performance /Show Design – Emotionality, Music Selection, Effective use of Stage and Performance
Area, Outfit, and Style.

Rewarding:
The Jury awards all of the participants by diplomas and medals
Memorable prizes are given to the winners of the competition -Laureate of The 1st, 2nd, 3rd degrees and
Grand Prix

Music- During for dance/song composition- up to 3.5 minutes (an exception for folklore dance). All
compositions must be registered on the site up to 01/04/2022.

Registration:
Participation in the festival is registered after submitting an application and paying a registration fee of 50 $ per participant in the contest (up to 01/02/2022). This fee is not an additional payment. It is excluded from the participation fee. If the groups/participants want to take part in the additional nomination – they have to pay 10 $ per participant extra charges. Extra charges for solo 25$.
