Overview
The Emilia Romagna is one of the most beautiful Italian regions, a region that managed to keep up both its rural nature and its maritime splendour. Each time someone travels to this Italian region, one can always explore new itenararies and unique experiences.
It’s a vast region, where its people love to live and probably its one of the best tourist destinations in Europe, a region also well known worldwide. In fact, Emilia Romagna is definitely unique in its landscapes and its famous seaside locations all around.

N.B.
* If due flight itineraries, or else if you prefer so, you will have to spend extra nights, arrangements can be done. Cost of extra nights are €45 per person per night on half board basis and 35€ per person per night on BB basis.
* The group will be accommodated in one of the affiliated Hotels.
* Each group is responsible for airfare/transportation to the Emilia Romagna Region.
* Participating groups should take the Festival accommodation packages.
* The Organisation can make the necessary arrangements for the airport transfer.
* Once a group confirms its participation, the group will be asked for a deposit of 30% of the total participation package costs. This deposit is not refundable.

Itinerary
The Festival will be spread on 3 different evenings in three beautiful baroque churches, such as those of Rimini, Riccione, Cesena, Ravenna and Cesenatico amongst others.
Each choir will be able to perform in its own style, which must be religious/sacred, given that the concerts will be held in churches. Each choir can perform "a cappella", or accompanied by an organ or other musical instruments. The Organisation will arrange so that the church
organ will be available for each performance. If the church organ, for some reason, cannot be used, it will be replaced by an electric piano/keyboard.
Any other instrument must be brought by each choir. At the end of the final Festival night, all participating choirs will unite and sing one song all together.
The groups will be accommodated in a 3 *** star Hotel on half board or BB basis (bed and breakfast).
DRAFT FESTIVAL PROGRAMME
Friday 9th May
- Arrival of all groups in the morning, (groups must arrive before 13 hrs)
- Lunch at the Hotel (if the group is on half board basis).
- In the evening, the first Festival night to be held in one of the Region churches.
Saturday 10th May
- Breakfast at the Hotel
- Free morning or possible optional excursions, which will be offered by the Organisation to unique places such as San Marino, Bologna, Ravenna, Italy in Miniature, etc.
- Lunch at the hotel (if the group is on half board basis).
In the evening, the second Festival night in another baroque church.
Sunday 11th May
- Breakfast at the Hotel.
- Free morning or possible optional excursions
- Lunch at the hotel (if the group is on half board basis).
- In the evening, the Final Festival night, with the participation of all participating choirs. At the end of the concert, there will be official presentations to all choirs, by the Festival Organisation.
Monday 12th May
- Breakfast at the Hotel
- Departure of all groups. Depending on the departure time, it will also be possible to organise an optional excursion.
N.B.
- It is possible that due to flight itenaries, a group can arrive a day or more earlier or else depart a day or more later, than those indicated in the above programme
- The above programme is only a draft and indicative one and may undergo changes due to organisational issues.
- The final programme, with the exact venues and times of all performances, will be issued after the Organisation concludes the list of participants, including the local ones.
Things to do
1. Stroll under the porticoes of Bologna
Built from the late-Middle Ages onwards, these porticoes are synonymous with Bologna, offering shelter for pedestrians on the ground level and additional housing space on the upper levels.
2. Visit the Parma Cathedral
The Cathedral of Parma is one of the finest Romanesque Cathedrals in Italy. Its nave, with its impressive columns and frescoes, is absolutely breathtaking, but it’s the Cathedral dome fresco that will leave you quite literally breathless.
3. Join a fun cooking course
Emilia Romagna is a culinary paradise. So, it’s the perfect place to brush up on your Italian cooking skills. One cooking course we recommend is Le Sfogline
4. Drool at gleaming cars and bikes
Emilia Romagna is home to the world-famous Motor Valley where automotive fans can visit the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ducati.
5. Admire the mosaics in Ravenna
Ravenna, a historic town near the Adriatic coast, boasts no less than 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites
6. Discover ancient Rimini
Most people go to Rimini for its beaches and beach clubs but look inland and you’ll find a fascinating old town with many historic treasures
8. Discover liquid black gold
Modena is famous for its extraordinary balsamic vinegar. Traditional balsamico di Modena is very expensive due, amongst others, to the time it takes to produce it – the minimum aging period is 12 years
