The Old Town Hall with the famous Prague Astronomical Clock. Cafes enticing you to come and have a seat, boutiques, and sight-seeing cruises on the Vltava. The Gothic Charles Bridge and Church of St. Nicholas in the Lesser Town. The Palace Gardens set away from the bustle of the city, Petřín with a lookout tower reminiscent of a small Eiffel Tower and Prague Castle … Each of Prague’s districts has its own characteristic atmosphere and unique charm. Prague presents itself to you as a changeable city, which likes to alternate styles: it is romantic and successful, ancient and modern, but above all, it is a city that is cosmopolitan and is used to welcoming foreigners.


The participation fee is 119€ per person.

It includes:

  • Accommodation in Hotel Olympic 4* or Hotel Olsanka 4*
  • Half Board Basis (2 meals per day)
  • Participation at 1 Concert and a Defile

  • All expenses of the festival organization

The groups will be accommodated in 4* Hotels in Prague on a Half Board Basis with 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner). The groups will be accommodated in rooms with 3 and 4 beds with their own bathroom. Each Group can have only 2 double rooms which can be used for the Leaders and Drivers. The check-in at the hotel is at 16:00h and the check-out is at 12:00h. On 25 participants, every 26th participant is free of charge.

Extra charges:

  • Double Room: 7 euro/person/day
  • Single Room: 30 euro/day
  • Extra night: 35 euro/person/day

The International Folk - Dance Festival “Autumn Tale - Prague” will be held for the 8th time in Prague, Czech Republic.

The International Folk Dance Festival “Autumn Tale” is a non-competitive festival of traditional and modern dances. At the festival may participate in children and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance groups, instrumental groups, choirs, as well as groups and performers from other art styles. The age of participants is not limited.

During the Festival each Group will have 1 performance which will be organized in a closed Concert Hall where groups can perform either with live music or a CD. According to the number of participants, the minutes of the performance will be defined. The performances will be in the evening hours so you can plan the day ahead and use it for visiting the city attractions or shopping. Every Group will be rewarded with a Certificate for taking part in the Festival.

The number of participants is limited.  After receiving your application we will send you the official invitation for participating in the Festival. We will also assist you in obtaining a visa if necessary. Each member must have a travel insurance policy.

Festival Program:

1st day - 07th November
15:00-Arrival and accommodation groups at the hotel
21:00-Meeting with FFA representative and short description of the festival program (1-2 leaders per group)

2nd day - 08th November
10:00- Free Time – Excursions Day (You can find more information in “Excursions” section.)
18:00-Concert (Depending of the number of the groups we will let you know about the minutes of your performance.)
21:00-Diploma Rewarding (After ceremony of closing festival, we prepare small Zumba party on stage for all participants)

3rd day - 09h November
10:00 Free Time – Excursions Day (You can find more information in the “Excursions” section.)

4th day - 10th November
10:00 - Departure After Breakfast

The organizer reserves the right to any changes in the program, and the participants will be informed on time. The copyright of all video materials and pictures are ownership of the Organization of the Festival. By applying you confirm that you accept all festival conditions!

The application deadline is 08.10.2023.

The groups should pay the travel expenses by themselves to Prague and back. The groups coming by bus should use their own transport all the time during the festival.

Parking for buses (during your stay) is paid for by the group at the rate set on the parking place

The Organizers can organize the transport for the groups coming by plane by picking them up from the airport, during the festival days and back to the same airport. The cost of the transportation will be covered by the group and will be additionally agreed upon according to their number.

This beautiful slice of nature is a popular destination for families with children who can pet and feed animals at the Children's Zoo.
