Overview
Greece's Best Kept Secret
Surrounded by the crystal blue waters of the Aegean Sea, near the northern coast of Greece, sits the island of Thassos. Here you can immerse yourself in a breathtaking natural environment and get to know a laid-back culture that warmly welcomes every visitor.
Accommodation
The accommodation of the participants will be organized in hotels and apartments, 5 minutes from the beach. The groups will be accommodated in rooms with 3 beds and 4 beds on a half board basis. Only 2
double rooms are available per group without extra charge which can be used for the leaders and drivers.
PARTICIPATION FEE:
Price: for 6 days (5 nights) is 210 EUR per person
(ferry tickets for every person included in the price, excluded tickets for vehicle - bus, minibus, car)
It includes:
- Accommodation in Apartments and Hotels
- Half Board Basis with 2 meals per day - breakfast and dinner
- Ferry Boat Tickets for the group
- Participation in 2 Concerts and a Defile
- Invitation Letter
- Grattiduted Certificate
- All expenses of the festival organization
- Parking for the bus on arrival

DISCOUNT: For every 25th participant, 1 member is free of charge
Extra charges:
-Double Room: 8 euro/person/day
-Single Room: 30 euro/day

SPECIAL OFFER: On the way to and from the Festival, you have the opportunity to visit cities like Budapest, Vienna, Graz, Prague, Skopje, Varna – Golden sands, Sofia, Serbia – Belgrade and Leskovac and more. The Festival organizers can organize accommodation for the groups, guided city tours and tickets for sights for great deals. The cost of it upon request
HOW TO GET THERE?
The groups coming by bus can use their own transport all the time during the festival and the small journeys around the city. Any expense caused by the usage of the bus (accident, robbing, breakdown, etc.) should
be covered by the vehicle’s insurance. Each member must have travel insurance policy.
Free Parking
The groups coming by plane should organize the transportation from their country to airport (Kavala /Thessaloniki) and back. The cost of the transportation from airport to hotel will be covered by the group and will be additionally agreed according to their number.

Itinerary
The International Festival of dance and songs
“Emerald Island” is a non-competitive festival of
traditional and modern dances and songs performed
by groups. At the festival may participate children
and youth folklore dance groups, modern dance
groups, choirs, as well as groups and performers
from other art styles with minimum 10 persons on
the stage. The age of participants is not limited.
During the Festival each group will have at least two
performances around the island according to the
program of the festival. Groups should bring flag
and a sign with the name of the group for the
parade. All program activities and performances
will be held at evening hours so every day is free for
participants to use the sandy beach or visit some of
the tourist attractions.
FESTIVAL PROGRAM
Detailed Festival Program will be given to you 1 month before the start of the festival.
FIRST DAY
12:00 Arrival and Check-in in rooms
20:30 Meeting and short description of the festival program (2 leaders per group)
SECOND DAY
19:00 Parade
19:15 Concert (maximum 7 minutes per group)
THIRD DAY
19:30 Excursion - Greek night – unforgettable dinner – Greek party
FOURTH DAY
11:30 Free Time - Excursion Day (apply for one of the festival excursions and make wonderful memories)
19:00 Concert & certificates awarding Party for all participants
FIFTH DAY
09:30 Boat cruise – enjoy in warm waters, swim, snorkel, sunbath, listen music, and if you’re lucky you might even see dolphins
SIXTH DAY
10:30 Departure of the groups after the breakfast
