IN RELATION TO THE PANDEMIC:
due to the fact that many participants are physically unable to arrive at the festival, only this year it is possible to take part in the festival in absentia. For those wishing to participate in absentia:

– applications and videos will be accepted before 23.07.21, the deadline for payment is 25.07.21
– all videos will be posted on Youtube on the Festival & Contest channel
– results will be announced on 30.07.21 at 18.00 (Rome time) on the Facebook Festival & Contest page
– Participants will receive diplomas and letters of thanks within 7 working days after the end of the competition by e-mail.
– for participants “in absentia” is awarded a separate prize of “popular opinion” – “PEOPLE CHOICE AWARD,” which, independent of the age category, in the independence of the assessment of the jury members, counts the votes as follows:

A participant who has scored more points receives a certificate and award, giving the right to participate in any event organized by Festival & Contest in 2022 for free.

Members of the jury
The members of the jury are selected by the organizers each time, depending on the employment of the Masters and the requests received from the participants. The exact composition of the jury will be communicated to the participants before the concourse. The costs of participation, number of performances, timing
Soloists and artists – € 65.00 / 2 performances / maximum 8 minutes
Duet / Duet – € 95.00 / 2 performances / maximum 8 minutes
Team 3-10 people / per person – € 35.00 / 2 performances / maximum 8 minutes
The team of 11-25 people / per person – € 25.00 / 2 performances / maximum 8 minutes
Team of more than 25 people / per person – € 20.00 / 2 performances / maximum 8 minutes

* Participants/teams that wish to submit more than two presentations in a Contest nomination pay an extra € 10.00 per person for the performance.
* Participants/groups wishing to participate in the Festival-Contest in an additional nomination, pay the participation fee in full (with the previous discount if you buy a package with accommodation from the organizers)
* In case the participant’s time violation is interrupted, the participant can be disqualified.

The price includes:
– Participation in the Festival-Contest in a nomination.

Test
Soloist – 2 minutes
Duets and bands – 3 minutes
The time for the rehearsal includes the time to enter to the stage, which implies stage marking, microphone tuning, instrument tuning, etc. The tests will be carried out in accordance with the calendar provided by the organizers, whose violation is equal to the voluntary refusal of the essay.
The organizers do not offer classes or rooms to warm up the participants, since the competitive part is carried out in the form of exams, to which the participants must be prepared.

Special awards
All participants:
Free participation in the International Internet Play Contest this year.
10% discount on accommodation and meals at the International Festival-Break Competition in Italy or France next year.

ATTENTION! The participation discounts mentioned above are only possible if you buy a package with accommodation from the organizers of the Festival: the competition.

The members of the jury can grant, at their discretion, other prizes, and gifts, in the form of free participation in competitions in Europe, free training in schools, academies, and conservatories, free masters.

Program of the event
The program includes:
– everyday classes on the beach with teachers of folk dances, music. instruments / included in pack
– short evening concerts and outdoor performances / included in the pack
– excursions to the cities of arts: Rome and the Vatican, Loreto and the Frasassi Grottoes, Bari, Naples, and Pompeii. Excursions are carried out with the recruitment of at least 25 people / paid separately
– disco/pack included
– rest on the beach with animation program / included in the pack
* The exact schedule of registration of participants and the festival line will be communicated to the
participants additionally.
* In case of a large number of participants, the festival will be held for 2 or more days.

REQUEST FROM ORGANIZERS: find out the exact date of the festival in advance before buying
air tickets! Since they can be transferred to other days of the week.

Refusal to participate
The participation fees already paid are not refundable in any case. Only in case, the organizers cancel the event, in this case, the contributions already paid will be returned within 1 week.

Rejection of the trip
Invoices already paid for accommodation, meals, transfers and other services are subject to the following fines in case of rejection:
-Fail 20 days before the start: a penalty of 25% of the total amount
-Failure 15 days before the start: a penalty of 50% of the total amount rejection 10 days before the start – 75% penalty of the total amount
-Failure in 7 days or less – 100% penalty

* The organizers are not responsible if the Embassy refuses to issue visas to enter the country.
Participants who do not have the opportunity to attend the planned event are also subject to the above sanctions in this case.
* “The rejection of a trip” must be presented to the organizers, the fine will be calculated from the day of receipt of the letter with the rejection of the trip.
